The professional world is the perfect place to test your limits. But as more and more people graduate, you’ll find yourself in a sea of competitive applicants vying for the same spot. Standing out can be tricky, but it shouldn’t be a challenge if you are equipped with the right skill-set and mind-set.
The Career Engine aims to help young Filipinos become job ready by providing them with the right training. As an initiative of DigiBayanihan, a digital empowerment movement of ASSIST that advocates digital literacy, digitally-enabled literacy and digital wellness, The Career Engine makes use of online training modules to help recently graduated students secure a job in this competitive professional world.
The online training modules consist of comprehensive, easy-to-understand training videos, downloadable supplementary materials and self-assessment questionnaires that are purposely designed and available in English, Filipino and other local languages. Users can also experience step by step guide on getting a job, and excelling at their job. From preparing for that nerve-wracking job interview, to practicing proper work etiquettes and balancing work and play, The Career Engine has an arsenal of training modules to help the growing workforce adapt to the modern changes.
Groomed as a portal to enhance skillsets and become life-ready, The Career Engine not only solves the employment gap but also provides a clear outlook on the developing needs of a modern society. The learning initiative is expected to be showcased to students in offline events such as Job Fairs and Student Expos as well as Partner events lined up in the coming months.
