The need for the Philippines to progress digitally is crucial for the country’s economic growth and its ability to stay at par with the digitally evolving world. We intend to supplement traditional education by providing practical digital literacy skills that prepare Filipinos for the world of work. In addition, we aim to close the digital divide between those with and without access to technology so that more Filipinos will have the skills needed to succeed in their own lives.
We teach basic and advanced digital literacy skills that help learners to maneuver the constantly evolving digital landscape.
Going beyond digital literacy, we seek to use digital-enablement to provide learning on a wide range of topics, including financial literacy, social entrepreneurship, career readiness and soft skills.
We seek to use our program to also promote appropriate and responsible use of technology by giving users valuable and useful information to engage productively in society.
Through our Five Point Action Plan, we aim to deliver digital inclusivity.
To ensure that more Filipinos are included in the next digital revolution, we want to create bespoke content that are available in local languages and dialects.
We want to partner with various organizations and institutions to ensure the program's sustainability.
To gain more visibility of the issues surrounding the digital divide, DigiBayanihan hosts and participates in a number of events held both locally and internationally.
We want to engage with local communities and governments who can help us better reach the people who could benefit from the program.
We want to extend our DigiBayanihan program to the Visayas and Mindanao regions which are primarily underserved.
