Intel® Philippines in coordination with the TESDA Provincial Offices conducted a series of two-hour orientation sessions for the Intel Easy Steps Program for TESDA- accredited Technical Vocation Institutions (TVIs) in Cavite, Legazpi City and Davao City last March, 2012.
The orientation sessions served as a means to introduce Intel® Easy Steps to different TESDA-accredited institutions and discuss the possible applications and uses of the materials to their institutions. Intel believes that the Easy Steps program can be the key to fulfilling the common competency requirement of basic computer literacy, in line with TESDA training regulations.
The orientations were in conjunction with Intel’s Negosyantech Events, which offers technology solutions for small entrepreneurs. The orientation for Cavite was held on March 20. This wasfollowed by the Legazpi City legon March 27 and rounded up by the Davao City leg on March 30.
Based on the initial feedback of the attendees, there is a strong possibility that face to face trainings will be organized in each of the three provinces, in partnership with school associations and TESDA Provincial Offices.
